This is a really technologically savvy way for me to talk to myself. I used to fancy myself a bit of a writer, but my inability to express myself in this format is showing me that I can’t really be that dedicated to the art if I can be put off by a little new technology. I actually have been writing in my journal lately (notebook and pen) because I keep having insights that I need to write out to cement in my mind. The problem with keeping my entries on the computer is that there is too much else to distract me once I sit in front of the glowing screen. I have to see if anyone I’ve been dying to make contact with is logged onto Facebook, and of course I must check every five minutes for new emails. I guess if I ever answered my emails, people would be more inclined to send more than those junk chain mails and ads from their home-based businesses. Once I’m sitting here, I get the urge to catch a few fish in Harpoon Lagoon, play three hands of Nertz and try to beat the Spider solitaire on the medium level. Any new emails? Nope, not in the last ten minutes. Too bad you can’t get awards for wasting time. Maybe I’ll just get a full night’s sleep tonight for a change.
I love my life!
I have a tender, loving husband who gives me an entire domain for my birthday. I have four wonderful children who gladly help me around the house, if I trick them into it. I live in the most beautiful and exciting place in the world in the most abundant and wealthy country on the planet. My Heavenly Father has richly blessed me.
